| An organisation which rescues stricken working dogs has raised almost £400 in a Christmas fund-raising event. Members of the Fell and Moorland Working Terrier Club dug deep into their pockets at a raffle and charity auction night held at the Earl of Stamford pub, Birstall, earlier this month. The £380 raised was divided between the Rainbows children's hospice, in Loughborough, and club funds. Spokesman Mick Flower said: "We are very grateful to everybody involved." |
